What does Taqdim actually do?
Taqdim checks whether a job is worth applying to, then prepares your CV and cover letter for that specific role, and helps your browser fill in the application form. You review everything before anything is submitted.
How is this different from uploading my CV to a tool?
Most tools reformat or score your existing CV. Taqdim writes a new tailored CV for each role, drawing from your profile — a different document for a product manager posting than for a data analyst posting. It also checks your fit before it writes anything, and tells you when the role isn't right.
Do you ever invent content in the CV?
Taqdim is designed not to. Every line in the tailored CV is drawn from your profile — a job you held, a skill you listed, a qualification you have — and we do not add credentials, employers or achievements you did not provide. AI can still make mistakes, so always review every document before you use it.
Why would you tell me not to apply?
Some applications are wasted effort — roles that require a nationality you don't hold, a security clearance you don't have, or a decade of experience you haven't built yet. Sending these applications doesn't help you; it dilutes your record. We'd rather surface that early. Fit results are guidance, not a promise.
Can Taqdim promise me an interview?
No. Fit results are guidance, not a promise. We do not guarantee interviews, offers or any hiring outcome.
Does Taqdim submit applications for me?
No. The browser extension fills the form fields on the page you are viewing, but it does not submit forms — you always click Submit yourself.
Do you store what I type into application forms?
When the extension fills a form, we record only which form it was, the page URL, and counts of filled and corrected fields — never the text you type into it. Answers you choose to save to your profile (for example notice period) are stored so you don't have to retype them.
What languages does Taqdim support?
Arabic and English. The app is fully bilingual. CVs and cover letters are written in whichever language the role calls for — or both, if the role calls for it.
How do credits work?
During the closed beta, credits are free (one set per invited email address) and have no cash value. They may be adjusted or reset. If an action fails, its credits are refunded. Paid credits, if we introduce them, will have their prices and terms shown before you buy.
Who can see my data?
Only you and the operator of Taqdim, who runs the beta, can access your profile and documents. To run the service we use processors — Clerk, Neon, Vercel, Cloudflare Workers AI and Resend (for service emails), plus Google and GitHub only if you use those features — and they handle your data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising trackers. Details are in the Privacy Policy at taqdim.app/privacy.
Do you use my CV to train AI models?
No. We do not use your CV or documents to train AI models. Cloudflare's terms confirm prompts and AI outputs are not retained beyond the request and are not used to train models.
Which companies process my data, and where?
Clerk handles sign-up, sign-in and account security (United States). Neon hosts the database with your profile, CV file, jobs and documents (Frankfurt, Germany, EU). Vercel hosts the website and app (global network). Cloudflare Workers AI runs the AI models that read your CV and write your documents (global network). Resend sends our service emails from the EU (Ireland); Resend is based in the United States. Google is involved only if you choose Sign in with Google, and GitHub only if you use Report an issue.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete your account yourself from your account settings, which permanently removes your profile, CV file, jobs, documents and credit history in one step. After you delete your account we keep only a one-way fingerprint (not your email or name) for 90 days, so a delayed sign-in cannot recreate your data. Then it is deleted too. Security logs are kept for up to 365 days, and any issue report you sent through 'Report an issue' sits in our private GitHub repository; email us to have it removed.
